Thank you so much for making our wedding so beautiful. The arch and flowers werejust lovely and we loved how you carved the aisle in the sand and spread therose petals. Your choice in the officiant was wonderful. Susan reminded us of Doug'sgrandmother. She made the ceremony very special. The photographer and videographer were great too! And thank you so very, very, very much for working to rearrange to a different day with everyone involved. Things were very stressful for us with Doug ending up in the hospital and you being able to still make our wedding happen meant everything to us. Sending flowers to Doug in the hospital was very thoughtful and much appreciated. I know you had no control over the weather but when it had been raining all day and then all of the sudden a few minutes into the ceremony the most beautiful sunset began just made the ceremony absolutely perfect!!!! It was gorgeous.

.... Thank you for everything you did around and under our wedding. It was perfect. Everyone there was happy, and have commented positively about everything. We all had a very good time. The only thing I could have wished for if any, would have been for the night to last longer. I sure didn`t want it to end. You scored big when you spoke Norwegian to me. I sure didn`t expect it, and I can only say I was impressed. I have some Chinese friends that are considering using your services now, since I told them I`m sure you will prepare their whole ceremony in Chinese. :-)
It was soo good to finally meet you after all the phone calls back and forth, and I appreciated that you and your sister stayed with us all evening. Wish we had some more time to talk though, but again the evening was too short.
All my credit to the luha show, and especially the guy that had the music. (Don`t remember his name) He kept everything going and organized the whole time, and he was good. I really liked his style.
I`m sure he would have been fun to party with, with his humor and way of being, but again, if we only had more time.

The tropical colors, especially the pinks and oranges looked amazing by the ocean. Back home, I could never find a setup as beautiful as yours. My guests loved the shell leis and really liked the blessing of the shells. However, nothing can top the fantastic luau performance. Wow, they are amazing! We had the best time watching the performers, but I think they had fun when they made everyone get up and dance! We laughed when the tribal dancer made Ryan come up and learn a few moves. People from the beach and the resturant were rushing over to our reception to see what was going on because everyone was laughing and having a blast. We had the best time! Everything at the wedding was perfect! I am so happy you were a part of my wedding! The officiant (Allen) was SOOO Wonderful we Loved him! Guest said the violinist was wonderful (I was so caught up in the moment I didn't even hear him LOL or see the decorations until the pictures came out) Which look beautiful by the way! The canopy looked beautiful in the pictures! Once I saw my now husband, I locked eyes with him and there could have been no one else on the beach except for him and the officiant. The photographer Sheila was wonderful also, she is a keeper!

The look of the beach swept with the rose pedals leading to the altar was more than I could have imagined. Chaplain Allen Tanner was incredible, the way he spoke our vows he captured everyone. My guests later were coming up to me and commenting on how beautiful they were spoken and how he captured their attention the way he spoke every word. The DJ - there are no words for him! I told him we like to dance and what we like to dance to and man did he come prepared! We danced all night long! Keith Stansell was held hostage by the Columbia rebel group FARC and returned to Bradenton in July 2008.

We could not be happier with the service we received from Sand Petal Weddings. When we first arrived into the Sarasota area and checked our location for our ceremony we saw that our location was a little washed over with storm serge from a lingering tropical storm. This put me into a panic as it would any soon to be bride, but when I called Sand Petals to confirm the location and to discuss the fact that we were not quite keen on being married in scuba gear I could not be more relieved with the help to our problem that we received. We were calmly told that moving the location would be no problem at all. A sigh of relief rushed over me, we went to the second location and I immediately fell in love with the spot on Siesta Key beach. The day of the wedding I was met by Sand Petal Weddings and the wedding officiant as we arrived to the location. I also had some surprise guests and party members at the last minute and to accommodate the issue was no problem for Sand Petals. They did such a beautiful job of laying out our flowers, setting up our sand ceremony pieces and spreading the fresh rose petals the sight was truly a dream come true for any bride wanting the perfect beach wedding. The ceremony went so smoothly, my husband and myself were completely worry free which made the ceremony so much more enjoyable for the both of us thanks to Sand Petals for doing all of the work for us. I would recommend using Sand Petals services to anyone looking for an affordable or expensive beach wedding. We went with a simple package and the ceremony was simply stunning, music and everything they did for us. We had never visited the Sarasota area prior to our wedding and after having such a wonderful experience there we'll be returning without a doubt. Sorry it has taken us a while to write, been so busy since we got back from our lovely florida holiday!
We had a lovely lovely time on holiday on anna maria island and of course it was extra special as we got married while we were there near to bean point, thank you both so much for organising it all, the arch and heart with the petals looked lovely and you had a tough job as it was so windy and wild the night we got wed.
Also a big thanks for changing it all from the planned previous evening as that was even worse weather with rain and fog. Unfortunatly none of us can do anything about the weather and even though it was misty and windy and no sunset as such , we still had a fab time getting hitched it was very mystical and romantic and we loved every minute of it, so thank you guys for your hard work in setting it all up I know it was a tough location for you to get to and we do appreciate it.
Please pass on our thanks to Pastor John for the lovely ceremony as we didnt really get chance to say thanks to him again we appreciate his lovely service, and we received our wedding certificate and copies yesterday so thanks again to him.
We only have our own snap shots at the moment but I am enclosing a couple of pics for you, and if we know of anyone wanting to get married on a beach some place we will most definatly let them know about your services and the great area you live for a perfect beach wedding just like we had.

I just received my pictures today and I am still overwhelmed with joy from our special day. Lisa got some amazing pictures and they really captured the moment. I want to first apologize for taking so long to write this. Just wanted to thank you for the amazing job you all did to make our special day unforgettable. From the scouting trip in March until June 12, we were pleased with everything. Anytime I had a question or concern your team was right there to make me a stress free bride. We could not ask for a more perfect day. The beach was remarkable, the tropical decorations matched perfect with my colors and the ceremony was beautiful. The flowers were absolutely amazing (thanks for using our picture on the flower page ) and who could ever forget the gorgeous sunsets?
Our family and friends are still talking about the event and we are all planning to return in the next couple of years. Although same sex marriages are becoming more common around the country and here in Florida, we found not all companies were willing to open their doors to the idea of assisting in one. It was everything we asked for and more. We loved our set up and The Hula Show was outstanding! My mom said: what ever price you paid for the hula show, it was totally worth it. I told Kathy that every detail of the wedding was perfect, beyond imaginable! The Show was more than we expected and she said that you all wanted us to have the best and you have exceeded that!
Starting with my arrival, Kathy calming me down explaining step by step, to the ceremony set up, once I was able to see the pictures, it was perfect! The reception, the centerpieces, our sweetheart table with the food waiting on it for us (perfect touch), our gift table (LOVED the box with the orange bow), the cake table (when I saw it i couldn’t believe how beautiful it was setup, i was so worried there would be nothing on it!), the Luau Show (was not what I was expecting, everyone kept saying how awesome/different that was. It was like the bachelor/bachelorette party we didn’t have, LOL), your group being in contact with us checking on everything was very assuring and finally the vendors...the photographer was so fun and the DJ was perfect for us too! Even when we got home around midnight, I opened 1 present...guess who’s it happened to be...yup Sand Petals...I was so floored that you guys put a gift on our table! What a touching thought! So many of our guests said this was the best wedding they have ever been to, even Joe’s best friends mom...she kept saying this was better than both of her children’s weddings... :)

I would like to thank Sand Petal Weddings for making the best day of my life also one of the easiest. They made our October 1st Siesta Key Beach sunset ceremony absolutely perfect. From our first call in February, until the end of our ceremony, we felt like we were their number one client. Through phone calls and emails, they made our long distance planning a breeze. Lisa and Kathy guided us on whom to contact for the beach permit, while they contacted all the vendors (officiate, violinist, photographer, and disc jockey) necessary to make our day a success. The beach and offsite reception set up was far grander than we could have ever imagined, and certainly much nicer then we could have ever done ourselves. I was very nervous about getting married out of state and never having met anyone from this company, but it was a beautiful wedding. Even after changing my mind a few times they were a great help over the phone. Everything was done as agreed upon. I literally had to do nothing other than confirm a few details a few days before the wedding. We called Sand Petals in December for our July wedding and everything was smooth sailing ever since. We were notified by our officiant, musician, and photographer a few weeks prior to our wedding to discuss specifics which helped ease my mind about the wedding being perfect for us. It was not a cookie-cutter wedding....each part was chosen by us and Sand Petals delivered in every way! On the day of our wedding, we got a call saying that the weather wasn't looking too good for our 7:30 sunset wedding. Kathy looked into a back up plan, but ultimately we were able to make the final decision. We decided to move up the ceremony by 1.5 hours to avoid the rain. Every single person participating in our wedding altered their plans for the day to come early and make our day so special. The violinist and pastor were at the beach early and Sheila, our photographer, changed her plans of picking up her children from day camp to come take pictures of me getting ready. I couldn't believe the royal treatment we received!!! We were so thankful that we chose to move up the time and that everyone was able to accommodate the last minute change. It started to rain at 7:20 just as we were leaving the beach. We got our perfect day after all thanks to everyone at Sand Petals!!! We will never forget our perfect beach wedding.

My wedding was perfect! I am so happy that I used Sand Petal Weddings to plan my special day. I've always wanted to get married barefoot on the beach, but since I'm from Pittsburgh I wondered how I would be able to coordinate all the vendors without loosing my mind. I found Sand Petal Weddings and it was a breeze! They have been so helpful and friendly throughout the whole wedding planning process. We really enjoyed the shell toss and our sunset pictures. The ceremony was everything I imagined. Our Sand Petal Coordinators set up everything, the champagne flutes, place cards, favors, and made our tented reception on the beach look picture perfect. Our luau show was so much fun and gave us a lot of laughs. We really enjoyed the food and loved the wedding cake. We had 75 guests from Pittsburgh fly to be with us and they all remarked how wonderful the wedding was. They said it was the best wedding they've ever been to! Dancing in the sand with my husband,family, and friends was a dream come true. If you want a beautiful, fun, non-stressful wedding on the beach, Sand Petal Weddings will make it happen! It was the best day of our lives :)

Sand Petal Weddings were fantastic at planning the wedding and being there for me on our wedding day. We had never been to where we were having the wedding and they planned everything perfect and made sure it was exactly what I had wanted. All of our guests said it was the most amazing wedding they had ever been to. We had the Luau option which was so memorable and fun. If I had any questions they would respond right away and were on top of the catering, photography, videography and the pastor to make sure they all knew exactly what we wanted. I couldn't have imagined a better wedding and it was all thanks to the wonderful planning of Sand Petal Weddings. We were going to do a destination wedding and it all fell through, they planned it all within two months and then we got to leave our guests behind in Florida while we went alone to the Bahamas to truly get the best of everything:)
